The Story Behind Our Name — A Fresh Start
Sometimes, the most difficult crossroads in life become the beginning of something greater.
Before founding Fresh Start Maintenance Inc., owner Nicholas Petrino worked as a salesman for another company. He was ambitious, driven, and focused on growth. However, the owner of that company had reached a point where he no longer wanted the business to grow.
As their visions moved in different directions, the working environment became increasingly difficult. Hours became longer, scrutiny increased, and what had once been an opportunity became an unpleasant place to work. Eventually, Nicholas was presented with a life-changing decision: resign from his position, become a laborer on one of the crews, or take a chance and start a company of his own.
Shocked and suddenly standing at a crossroads, Nicholas thought about his future, his family, and what he wanted his life to become. In that moment, one simple thought came to him:
“I need a fresh start.”
And from those words, Fresh Start Maintenance Inc. was born. What began as an uncertain and difficult moment became the foundation of a company built on opportunity, perseverance, growth, and the belief that a new beginning can change everything.
